Mary Kate Lippert started at the Held Center in December 2023 as the assistant stable manager after several years of experience within the horse industry.

While attending Word of Life Bible Institute in upstate New York, Lippert was a riding instructor and trail guide in the Adirondack mountains for two years. She also participated on theirrodeo team.

Before coming to Albion, Lippert spent ten years as theequestrian supervisor for The Fowler Center in Mayville, MI where she was a riding instructor for individualswith physical and cognitivedisabilities. She also managed a herd of 12 horses and miscellaneous small livestock. Lippert successfully started and developed programs for two adaptive riding barns.

Lippert currently is the coach for the Mayville Equestrian team, runs charity 5k races each summer, and she spends most of her free time with her husband, twin boys, and two Huskey dogs.
