Need something? Our staff is here to help. Submit a work order to request custodial, maintenance, or other services for your office space, residential halls, or campus facilities. Our team reviews all requests and dispatches support as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Facilities Operations handles work orders for:

  • Heating, cooling, electrical issues

  • Carpentry and custodial services

  • Grounds upkeep

  • Doors and locks

  • Other building maintenance needs

IT Work Orders (Computers & Networking)

For technology-related service — such as computers, phones, logins, Wi-Fi, data, or network access — submit an IT work request:

How It Works

  1. Describe the Issue – Select your location and describe your maintenance or service need in as much detail as possible.

  2. Submit Your Request – Use the online work order portal to send your request to Facilities Operations or the appropriate department.

  3. Review & Scheduling – Our team reviews and schedules service based on priority and availability.

  4. Work Execution & Updates – You’ll receive follow-up on the status and completion of your request.

For emergencies during business hours (7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Mon–Fri), contact Facilities Operations directly at 517-629-0230. After hours, residential students should contact Community Living staff or Campus Safety.
