Albion College is one of only four private colleges anduniversities in Michigan to be included on the list of Wall Street Journal/College Pulse 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S.

Albionranked second among private colleges in Michigan and68 out of all 400 colleges and universities included in the rankings of public and private schools. The University of Detroit Mercy (52), Kalamazoo College (141) and Andrews University (382) were the other private Michigan schools included.

Three factors were considered in the rankings: student outcomes (70% of the ranking), the learning environment (20%) and diversity (10%).

Students who participated inthe ranking survey gave Albionhigh marks for diversity and for learning opportunities, including the College’s myriad experiential learning offerings.
